It was an easy drive there and back. We went down on a Thursday so we could enjoy their ward’s trunk-or-treat. The kids loved all the games, Anna liked the pirate ring toss and Isaac loved the bowling. We felt grateful to be welcomed even far from home.

They played with him and laughed with him. I’m sure Isaac and Liam will be inseparable on our trips in the near future. 2015-10-30 16.46.11 2015-10-30 16.14.50 2015-10-30 16.10.05

There were so many cool events in town for the holiday. Friday afternoon there was a trick-or-treat at the library and some downtown businesses. It was so cute to see all the dressed up kids filling the sidewalks. And of course, I loved seeing my kids holding hands for some of it.

Then on Saturday, after my poor Isaac napped hard, we went out trick or treating. Anna was a real big kid. And everyone adored Isaac and his little manners, “dank eww”.  Rainbow Dash and her little brother kitty brought home quite a haul from all this trick or treating. It was so nice of the Allreds to let us use their neighborhood since we live so far out these days. 2015-11-01 09.51.53
