A day for me

Posted on Dec 31, 2008 by | 5 comments

Today I was endowed. My parents and I went up to the temple in DC. Jacob and his parents, brother and grandmother met us there. The timing was perfect, we all got there just around the same time. Tonda, my wonderful friend and young womens leader, was also there, kind of to help my mom more than me. What was great for me was that I got to hold Jacob’s hand almost the entire session. It was comforting and familiar. Another great part was my parents being there, and the hugs at the end, I’m so happy that they were there, even if I am rebelliously independant and am sure I would have been fine without my mother’s time schedule 😉 Seeing us as a family really was wonderful. The day was long but totally worth it. Daddy took lots of pictures of Jacob and I near the Christmas lights, oh how fun it was 😀 My parents finally drug me away to head to the traffic jam that is the belt way; but while walking away to our respective sides of the parking lot, I dropped my bag and ran over to Jacob for one last hug for a few days, he ran over to me and picked me up and twirled me around truely displaying the happiness and love we feel. I can’t wait to go back on Friday 😀
