Once, when our amazing friends the Johnson’s were still in town, we went on a hike around West Rock with them.  I was pretty pregnant so we didn’t get very far but Kody carried their little girl in a baby backpack.  We had to stop every so often so she could reach out and touch a tree because she wanted to touch everything and it was adorable.  Our good friends kindly left the backpack with us when they moved to Canada and we are so excited that Anna is strong enough to use it.

She just loved seeing the world from a different perspective.  Anna was constantly looking around and smiling.  It was also fun for us to not have to devise a route based on stroller accessibility.  This should be perfect for all the fall geocaching we have planned. We just went on a short walk between conference sessions this afternoon.  It was a great way to break up the couch sitting and Anna was just too cute hanging out with Daddy.
