4 Month Check-up

Anna got her 4 month shots earlier this week along with a check-up.  I think these were more painful than her two month ones because she got way off her normal schedule of naps/eating/sleep for an entire day.  She is a hefty baby weighing in at 18 lbs 6 oz and her 26 inch length puts her around 95%.  At least we know she is getting enough to eat, hungry hippo that she is.  Maybe her weight is also a result of the newest addition to her diet: protein in the form of toes.  Nom nom.

She has been showing quite an interest in the things we put in our mouth so we thought we might try giving her some rice cereal.  The look on her face seemed traumatic but I think she survived the ordeal.  I don’t think I’m prepared for the mess that is baby + solid foods though so maybe we don’t have to rush into this transition?
